Sometimes you have a collegue that thinks (s)he’s doing it right but acctually (s)he’s doing it wrong. As a neuroscience nurse we all know how it’s done when you have a patient who is going of the rails and is turning day into night and night into day.
It’s called ‘Seasing the moment!’. That’s what you do when there’s an oppertunity to use humour (as a nursing intervention). Situation: There’s a 24 year old patient who has been admitted to our Neuro Care.

From May 13-16, 2015 I was in Belgrade, Serbia for the 10th Quadrennial Congress of the European Neuroscience Nurses (EANN). And when i am abroad i always bring my skates with me as a means of transport. The congres centre is some 4 km away from may hotel.
